This article covers a Hippo CMS version 7.7. There's an updated version available that covers our most recent release.

Deploy a project

The sections below this page describe how you can deploy your project to a production environment. Obviously, in production, you normally do not use the built in Derby database. See the related documents on how to configure different databases.

When Hippo does a production deployment, we usually do a clustered deployment. We cluster the cms, site and repositories. This setup however is part of our commercial offering. The Hippo Support team is available to help you out with these type of production question, and can be accessed when you have a HES (Hippo Enterprise Subscription). A HES also gives you access to Developer Assistance, Consulting and Training, as well as other benefits. Through the HES, we can even give you 24x7 support when needed.
